adidas La Trainer Og

Retro legend with Olympic DNA - adidas LA Trainer

Are you searching for the perfect blend of retro vibe and all-day comfort? The adidas LA Trainer is one of the greatest milestones in sneaker culture. This model made its debut at the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 1984 and swiftly transitioned from the athletic track to the streets. At Queens, we present you with a piece of history that will beautifully complement your everyday streetwear ensemble.

Vario Technology: Cushioning that you can customize

The defining feature of the adidas LA Trainer is the iconic Vario Shock Absorption system. Directly in the midsole beneath the heel, you will find three colored pegs that make these sneakers an unmistakable piece:

• Custom cushioning: In the 80s, runners would actually change the pegs to adjust the impact hardness according to their weight and the type of surface.
• Unique design: Today, you no longer need to adjust the cushioning, but these three colorful details make the LA Trainer a legend recognizable at first glance.

How to wear the adidas LA Trainer from Queens?

Thanks to the combination of breathable mesh and premium suede, these retro sneakers are the ideal choice for all-day urban exploration. They pair perfectly with wide cargo pants, classic baggy jeans, and comfortable sweat suits. At Queens, you will find them in a variety of colorways that you can easily mix and match with the rest of your wardrobe.

Interesting facts that will impress you:

• Key included in the box: With the original releases in the 80s, you received a screwdriver and spare pegs to actually adjust the system in the heel.
• From the track to subcultures: Originally a purely running shoe, it became an icon of British terrace subcultures (casuals) and European hip-hop.
• Timeless archive: It is among the most sought-after and frequently returning retro models from the adidas Originals division.
